    Abstract
    This research review Projection in Batak Karo language (BBK) to study how the projection used by Karo people (MK). Projection is a narrative in the form of complex clause. The applied theory is Functional Systematic Linguistic (LSF) by qualitative descriptive method. The data is collected by interview to 20 infonnants that consist of married male and female. Based on the results of research indicated that the Projection of Paratactic Locution is use more and has a first rank in conversation in Batak Karo Language, and then Projection of Hypotactic Locution, Relational as Projection in Batak Karo Language and Projection of Hypotactic Idea. Each type is indicated by lexicon grammar.
