dc.description.abstract | The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of hard skills, soft skills and work supervision on the performance of employees of the Department of Housing, Settlement Areas, and Spatial Planning in Medan City. The population of this study amounted to 84 employees at the Department of Housing, Settlement Areas, and Spatial Planning Medan City and the sampling technique of this study used a saturated sample where the entire population was sampled. The sample of this study were permanent employees at the Department of Housing, Settlement Areas, and Spatial Planning of Medan City. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis technique and multiple linear regression analysis technique. And the method of collecting data is through interviews, questionnaires, and documentation studies. The results of this study indicate that simultaneously hard skills, soft skills and work supervision have a significant effect on employee performance at the Department of Housing, Settlement Areas and Spatial Planning in Medan City. The results of the study partially show that Soft Skill as the first dominant variable has a positive and significant effect on employee performance in the Department of Housing, Settlement Areas, and Spatial Planning in Medan City. The results of the study partially show that work supervision as the second dominant variable has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Department of Housing, Settlement and Spatial Planning in Medan City. The results of the study partially show that Hard Skill as the third dominant variable has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Department of Housing, Settlement and Spatial Planning Medan City.. And from the results of the Adjusted R Square (R2) value of 0.391, this number indicates that 39.1 percent of the variation in Employee Performance is influenced by independent variations, namely Hard skills, Soft skills, and Work Supervision, while the remaining 60.9 percent is influenced by factors -other factors. | en_US |
