Concrete is the most widely used construction material in building structures. Concrete itself consists of a mixture of Portland cement or other hydraulic cement, fine aggregate (sand), coarse aggregate (gravel), and water and can also use additional materials to form a solid mass. Bagasse ash can be used as a pozzolan which, in addition to being able to replace some of the use of cement, can also increase the compressive strength of concrete because bagasse ash is a mixture of strong fibers, which have a high hygroscopic level, and contain the same with the main ingredients for making portland cement, namely (SiO2) silica and (Fe2O3) Ferrite. Bagasse ash is obtained from burning at the Kwala Madu Sugar Factory (PGKM) of PT. Nusantara Plantation II. In this experiment, the test objects were made with variations of bagasse ash 0%, 2.5%, 5%, 7.5%, 10%, 12.5% and 15% by weight of cement. The tests carried out were compressive strength tests with cylindrical specimens Ø 15 cm × 30 cm and mortar 5 cm × 5 cm, which had been curing for 28 days. From the results of the average compressive strength test of concrete and mortar at 28 days of age with AAT variations of 0%, 2.5%, 5%, 7.5%, 10%, 12.5%, and 15%, respectively for concrete specimens, namely 27.05 MPa, 28.91 MPa, 31.22 MPa, 32.85 MPa, 26.13 MPa, 23.06 MPa, 21.91 MPa and the mortar test results were 34.92 MPa, 37.56 MPa, 40.21 MPa, 42.33 MPa, 35.32 MPa, 32.80 MPa, and 30.55 MPa. The highest compressive strength value on concrete specimens is 32.85 MPa at 7.5% AAT variation, and the lowest concrete compressive strength value at 15% variation is 21.91 MPa. The highest mortar test object is 42.33 MPa at 7.5% AAT variation, and the lowest mortar compressive strength value at 15% variation is 30.55 MPa.en_US
