dc.description.abstract | Recruitment and selection process refers to the process of searching selecting and determining potential applicants that meet the needs, requirements and organizational culture. Every organization should be conscientious when procuring for the recruitment and selection process activities in order to avoid the organization from failing to meet what is expected from the process, as this will affect the effectiveness and efficiency of the organization Recruitment and selection process determines performance based on contribution of the workforce after they are accepted to work in the organization, which can affect the overall performance of the organization. This correlational analytical research aims at analyzing effects of recruitment system on performance of the employees at PT Perkebunan Nusantara III (Persero) Medan, analyzing effects of selection system on performance of the employees at PT Perkebunan Nusantara III (Persero) Medan, and formulating strategies or policies, for employee recruitment and selection process to improve employee performance, that are effective for PT Perkebunan the company. This research takes 45 people for sample from a population of 538 employees, collects data by distributing questionnaires, and uses partial least squares (PLS) software for data analysis techniques. The results of this research demonstrate that the recruitment process (XI) of PT Perkebunan Nusantara III (Persero) Medan has some positive and significant effects on the performance (1) of PT Perkebunan Nusantara III (Persero) Medan, and the selection process (X2) of PT Perkebunan Nusantara III (Persero) Medan has some positive and significant effects on performance (Y) of PT Perkebunan Nusantara III (Persero) Medan. | en_US |
