dc.description.abstractThis study aims to compare the similarities and differences in the classical guitar learning curriculum with the Trinity method and the Yamaha method, to find out what are the advantages and disadvantages of applying classical guitar learning to the Trinity method and the Yamaha method, to find the difficulties encountered and encountered by students during the teaching and learning process, and at the same time provide solutions in overcoming the difficulties of learning classical guitar using the Trinity method and the Yamaha method. In order for this research, qualitative research will be used by utilizing comparative or comparative theory and adding a behavioristic learning theory approach. Through the theory of comparative or comparative methods, researchers can compare the similarities and differences of the two methods based on the facts found and find the results of learning classical guitar with the Trinity method and the Yamaha method as changes in behavior. The results showed that the Trinity method of classical guitar learning, namely 1. demonstration method is a method of showing good, neat and beautiful practice material, 2. reading method is a method of learning to read scores using block notation and reading musical symbols contained in practice, 3 The section method is a method of playing parts of the material in which there are difficulties in reading and playing it, 4. the practice method (drill) is a method of practicing playing the material given to form and improve skills and train dexterity in playing guitar classic, 5. assignment method is a method of reminding students to keep practicing in order to improve their abilities so that they are better and more awake. The Trinity method of classical guitar learning prioritizes improving skills, dexterity and insight in playing classical guitar. The Yamaha method is 1. the learning by hear method is a method for students to learn music through hearing in order to train their sense of hearing and train their sense of rhythm (sensitivity to rhythm), 2. the performance model method is a method of exemplifying exercises and explaining the techniques contained in the exercises, 3. the play imitation method is a method of exemplifying exercises and students imitate exercises in order to find ways that make it easier for students to be able to play the exercises, 4. the partial playing method is a method of playing parts in parts repeatedly which is considered difficult to play until students can play overall practice, 5. the method of playing in teams or playing in turns is a method used to play an ensemble for fun. Yamaha's classical guitar learning method can form a creative soul that can make his achievements higher.en_US
