Pengaruh Aspek Psikologis dalam Pengambilan Keputusan Petugas Kesehatan Puskesmas terhadap Persiapan Pencapaian Eliminasi Malaria di Kecamatan Indrapuri Kabupaten Aceh Besar Tahun 2015

Abstract

Malaria elimination is one of the achievements of community and government in preparing the agents of development that significantly supported by Perda (Local Regulation). The stages should be implemented are eradication, pre-elimination, elimination, and maintenance. The indicator of success of malaria elimination program in the district/city and islands is when the cases of malaria transmission are no longer found in the regions for 3 (three) consecutive years. lndrapuri subdistrict was leading to the pra-elimination stage in 2013 with SPR of 1.59% and API of 0.91%. The purpose of this study ws to analyze the influence of psychological aspects (motivation, perception, knowledge, belief, and attitude) of the health workers of Puskesmas (Community Health Center) on the malaria elimination achievement preparation in Indrapuri Subdistrict, Aceh Besar District in 2015. The population of this qualitative and quantitative study was the 61 health workers serving at Puskesmas lndrapuri, and all of them were selected to be the samples for this study through total sampling technique. The data obtained were analyzed through Chi-square test and multiple logistic regression tests. The result of this study showed that 72.1 % of the malaria elimination prerparation was good, and 27,9% was inadequately good. Knowledge and attitude had influence on the malaria elimination achievement preparation in lndrapuri Subdistrict, Aceh Besar District in 2015. The most influencing variable on the malaria elimination achievement preparation in 2015 is attitude with coefficient value B = 2.710. The officials of District Governemnt of Aceh Besar are expected to improve the knowledge because one of the requirements to select the person in charge of the malaria elimination achievement preparation is education. The frequency of trainings given by the health workers can be more increased. More intensive and continuous information should be given through simulation method.
