Pengaruh Kepuasan Kerja Dokter Spesialis terhadap Tindakan Merujuk Pasien ke RSUP H. Adam Malik Medan

Abstract

Hospital as a public institution of public health service is influenced by the professionalism of specialist doctors where their role influences the satisfaction of patients as well. The objective of this research is to find out the effect of working satisfaction of specialist doctors toward their actions in referring patients to RSUP H. Adam Malik. This research is a field research; it is an explanatory survey by using questionnaire held at RSUP H. Adam Malik. The population is the specialists doctors serving 160 patients with 60 samples. The average age of respondents is 46,53 years old, the youngest is 32 and the oldest is 58. The result of this research shows that the working satisfaction to medical charge, reward / promotion, partners, job and facilities has a correlation coefficient (0,088) with F Regression 0,001 ( p< 0,01 ). The most influencing variable is the working satisfaction to the facilities (0,0001), reward (0,001), job (0,003), medical charge (0,011) and the smallest influence is the satisfaction to working partners (0,015). Based on the research, it is recommended to increase the working of specialist doctors and the hospital effectiveness; the hospital management, the effectively of medical tools and other medical materials, the maintenance of reward system need to be increased by improving employees administration and medical service.
