dc.description.abstractAutomatic coffee heating hotplates used a PID control system were used so that the desired temperature can be maintained and remains stable and the output error was small. By adding a PID controller to the device, it was able to improved system performance by improving response, namely reducing or eliminating errors and increasing response speed. The control center of the system used an arduino microcontroller component. Research on the tool was carried out by testing the system 9 times by changing each parameter Kp, Ki and Kd. From the results of testing the tool 9 times each with a duration of 20 minutes, it can be concluded that the parameters that approach the system response with stability from the assembled system were in the 3rd experiment with Kp = 7, Ki = 1 and Kd = 1 with parameters Tr = 209 seconds, Td = -3 minutes, Ts = -13 minutes, %Mp = 17.5 % and Steady State Error = 0.78 %en_US
