Peramalan Komposisi Penduduk Menurut Jenis Kelamin di Kabupaten Karo dengan Metode Trend Non Linear

Abstract

This study entitled "Forecasting Population Composition by Sex in Karo District With Non Linear Trend Method". The purpose of this study is to find out how much the composition of Karo Regency population by sex and predicted the composition of the population of Karo Regency in 2017-2018. In doing this final writing secondary data collection. Secondary data includes data of population by sex in Karo District in 2011-2016. The author analyzes data using Non Linear Trend with second / quadratic polynomial method. To calculate the forecasting used the formula Ŷ = a + bX + cX ^ 2. Based on the results of data processing shows that the results of the forecast is not much different from the actual data of the population forecast for 2017, for the male population amounted to 202,270 inhabitants and for the female population amounted to 204,759 souls so that the total population is 407,029 inhabitants. And the population forecast for 2018, for men amounted to 207,392 souls and for the female population amounted to 209,524 souls so that the total population is 416,914 inhabitants.

Penelitian ini berjudul “Peramalan Komposisi Penduduk Menurut Jenis Kelamin Di Kabupaten Karo Dengan Metode Trend Non Linear”. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa besar komposisi penduduk Kabupaten Karo menurut jenis kelamin dan meramalkan komposisi penduduk Kabupaten Karo tahun 2017-2018. Dalam melakukan penulisan akhir ini dilakukan pengumpulan data sekunder. Data sekunder meliputi data jumlah penduduk menurut jenis kelamin di Kabupaten Karo pada tahun 2011-2016. Penulis menganalisa data menggunakan Trend Non Linear dengan metode polinom pangkat dua/ kuadratik. Untuk menghitung peramalan digunakan rumus Ŷ =a +bX+cX2 . Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data tersebut menunjukkan bahwa hasil ramalan tidak jauh berbeda dari data sebenarnya yaitu ramalan penduduk untuk tahun 2017, untuk penduduk laki-laki berjumlah 202.270 jiwa dan untuk penduduk perempuan bejumlah 204.759 jiwa sehingga didapat jumlah penduduk totalnya adalah 407.029 jiwa. Dan ramalan penduduk tahun 2018, untuk laki-laki berjumlah 207.392 jiwa dan untuk penduduk perempuan berjumlah 209.524 jiwa sehingga didapat jumlah penduduk totalnya adalah 416.914 jiwa.
