    Pengetahuan, Sikap dan Tindakan Penerapan 5M sebagai Pencegahan COVID-19 pada Pekerja Pengalengan Ikan di PT Suri Tani Pemuka Pematang Siantar Tahun 2021

    Abstract
    Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) and has been declared a pandemic in all countries, especially in Indonesia. Transmission of COVID-19 occurs very quickly through the droplets of a person when coughing, sneezing and talking. Prevention efforts are carried to prevent exposure COVID-19 for implementing the 5M health protocol. The chain of spread of COVID-19 can’t be broken easily,the mutation process is so fast. This studyaims to Knowledge, Attitudes and Actions for Implementation of the 5M Health Protocol as a Prevention of COVID-19 for Canned Fish Worker at PT Suri Tani Pemuka Pematang Siantar in 2021. This type of research is quantitative with a cross sectional design carried out at PT Suri Tani Pemuka Pematang Siantar. The population this study amounted to 612 people with Taro Yamane formula getting sample of 51people using Simple Random Sampling. Data collection method this studyused a questionnaire with direct observation. Analysis of the data in this study obtained through univariate whose results are described through frequency distribution table. The results this study in dicate that 51 respondent (100%) as many as 47 people (92.2%) worker knowledge of compliance with the 5M health protocol was good, as many as 49 respondent (96.1%) worker attitude toward compliance with the 5M health protocol was good, and as many as 28 respondent (54.9%) the action of worker toward compliance with the 5M health protocol were sufficient. The conclusion of this study is the knowledge and attitude of workerare good and the actions of worker is sufficient. From the results of this study, it is expected that workers will remain obedient to 5M health protocol even though workers are not supervised to protect themselves and others from contracting or transmitting the virus.
