dc.description.abstract | It is felt that control system practicum that relies on software does not provide a good understanding for the practitioners of Laboratorium Sistem Pengaturan dan Komputer, Fakultas Teknik, Departemen Teknik Elektro, Universitas Sumatera Utara. Therefore, researchers made a PID control simulator prototype that can be used as a control system practicum simulator. This study aims to create a PID simulator that is user-friendly, low cost, portable and can be used for control system practicum. The main components used are the Arduino UNO and the JGA25-370 DC motor. These components are programmed so that variables such as set point, Kp, Ki and Kd can be changed. Hence, the practitioner can see the effect of these variables. In this study, no-load and loaded experiments have also been added to see the effect of the two conditions on the system. In the final stage, an evaluation was carried out by comparing it with SimuLink Matlab and the result was that the PID simulator prototype was closed to the SimuLink Matlab simulation results. Therefore, it could be said that the prototype is feasible to be used as a control system practicum tool. | en_US |
