dc.description.abstract | Utilization of New and Renewable Energy Through the construction of rooftop solar power plants (PLTS) is one form of encouraging Indonesia to achieve Net Zero Emissions by 2060. This aimed at reducing indonesia’s dependence on the use of reduce Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions and achieve energy independence in the future. The Tanjung Selamat general hospital is one of PTPN II subsidiaries engaged in the health service sector which located in 13.56 ha of land and is considered to have the potential for PLTS utilization. In this study, an analysis was carried out using a Helioscope simulation to see the amount of energy that can be generated through the utilization of the building’s roof area and to calculate how much cost is required for the installation of 3 schemes, namely utilizing the entire roof of the building, maximizing the installed power capacity of PLN and utilizing a portion of the existing roof area. From the results of research using solar modules of the type Jinko Solar 72HL4 with a capacity of 550 Wp, a total energy potential that can be generated is 451.9 MWh/year using 669 solar modules and 3 inverter units with a total investment value of Rp. 4.062.941.762 for the scheme to maximize PLN’s installed power capacity, the energy potential generated is 231,5 MWh/year using 340 solar modules and 2 inverter units with an investment value of Rp. 3.364.450.000 and 42.48 MWh/year from the scheme utilizing a portion of the building’s roof area using 60 solar modules and 2 inverter units with a total investment of Rp. 594.648.251. | en_US |
