Background: various kinds of scoring methods has been developed to assess the risk
of MACE, one of scoring method that is commonly used is GRACE. Selvester scoring
system is scoring method based on changes in cardiac activity, however there has been
no previous study regarding the comparison between GRACE and Selvester in
predicting MACE. The aim of this study is to compare GRACE and Selvester score in
predicting MACE in patient with NSTEMI during hospitalization.
Metode: 60 individual diagnosed with NSTEMI in RSUP H. Adam Malik was enrolled
in this study. GRACE score, Selvester score, and MACE were recorded during
hospitalization. Univariate and bivariate analysis was performed to assess the
relationship between GRACE score, Selvester score and MACE. The predictive value
of GRACE and Selvester score was analyzed using ROC curve.
Result: From 60 samples enrolled in this study, 40% samples had MACE during
hospitalization. Average GRACE score and median Selvester score is higher in the
MACE group (p<0,001). The areas unther the ROC curve showed GRACE and
Selvester score has good predictive value in predicting MACE with AUC 0,838 and
0,81 sequentially.
Conclusion: GRACE score is superior than Selvester score in predicting MACE in
patient with NSTEMI
