The proportion of DM with pulmonary tuberculosis at RSUD (Regional General Hospital) Aceh Singkil in 2013 was 8%o and 2014 it increased to 14%o. The research with case control design which was aimed to analyze the risk factors for the incidence of pulmonary tuberculosis in DM patients at RSUD Aceh Singkil. Each case in the subject was matched with control according to age, sex, and duration of DM The case sampling are DM patients with pulmonary tuberculosis, and the control sampling are DM patients without pulmonary tuberculosis. Statistical tests conducted are chi square test and multiple logistic regression. The result of the research showed that factors which had significant influence on the incidence of pulmonary tuberculosis in DM patients of multivariate analysis were contact with pulmonary tuberculosis patient in the same house (OR=14.22 95%Cl=2.38-84.87), history of pulmonary tuberculosis (OR=12.04 95%Cl=1.990-72.853), and occupation (OR=4.88 953%Cl=1.16-20.45). Whereas the factors KGD (OR=2,603; 95%CI=0,483-14,028) and education (OR=6,040; 95%Cl=0,488-74,695) insignificant influence on the incidence of pulmonary tuberculosis in DM patients. It is recommended for Health Service of Aceh Singkil district and Hospitals increasing KIE, cases finding and the prevention of the transmission sources.
