Analisa Faktor Fisik dan Non-Fisik Pasar Tradisional Sukaramai Medan dan Pengaruhnya terhadap Kondisi Aksesibilitas Kawasan

Abstract

Sukaramai Medan Traditional Market is one of the first-class traditional markets in the city of Medan. As has happened in traditional markets in other cities in Indonesia, especially the city of Medan, several problems often occur with its development, one of which is the accessibility of the area caused by congestion. This congestion occurs mostly caused by traders who use the shoulder of the road to sell. Thus, this study aims to find out the problems that exist in the Sukaramai Medan traditional market in terms of physical and non-physical that affect the accessibility of the area, so that in the future it can be used as a reference for the Sukaramai Medan Traditional Market so that it is appropriate in its management. From the compilation of data, it is underlined that the recent development of Sukaramai Market shows that it is getting busier and busier, but so far there has been no significant improvement in the Sukaramai Medan Traditional Market. This study uses a combined method (mixed methods) between quantitative and qualitative methods with data collection used in the form of observations to look for existing questions, conducting a survey of respondents who use the Sukaramai Traditional Market in Medan. Based on several variables observed in the analysis, namely physical factors in the form of market locations and trading rooms, and non-physical factors in the form of merchant mobility. The results showed the influence of physical and non-physical factors of the Sukaramai Medan Traditional Market on the accessibility of the area and the perpetrators did not occupy the Sukaramai Medan Traditional Market Building. This was found after conducting research and analysis of respondents and the existing condition of the Medan Sukaramai Traditional Market.
