Karakteristik Morfologi dan Reproduksi pada Ikan Garing (Tor Tambra) di Sungai Batang Gadis Kecamatan Panyabungan Kabupaten Mandailing Natal Provinsi Sumatera Utara

Abstract

Garing Fish is one of the fish caught in the Batang Gadis River. The purpose of this study was to determine the morphometric and meristic characters and reproduction of the crunchy fish. This research was conducted in September-October 2022 in the Batang Gadis River using spread nets. The number of fish caught was 152 tails. The total weight (BT) of the male linefish is 18-219 grams, while the female lineage is 226-263 grams and the total length (PT) of the male linefish is 81-263 mm, while the female lineage is 291-471 mm. The meristic characteristics of the Garing Fish are as follows: 31-35 Linnea Lateralis (LL), the Dorsal Fin formula (DF) is DI.8-11, the Pectoral Fin formula (PF) is PI.24-34, the Ventral Fin formula (VF) is VI.15-25, the Anal Fin formula (AF) is AI.6-10 and the Caudal Fin formula (CF) is C.14-26. The results of reproduction show that the sex ratio of dried fish is not balanced. The maturity levels of the gonads obtained were male saltfish at TKG I, II, III, IV and female saltfish at TKG I, II, III, IV. The fecundity of the dried fish ranged from 14805-34841 eggs, and the diameter of the dried fish eggs was classified as a partial spawner.
