Human being always want the new improvement in order to get efficiency
and practically. One of the improvements here is to combine two objectives by
using one machine. As an example, on one hand split type Air Conditioner can be
used to condition room and on the other hand it can be used to power the water
heater in producing hot water. This is the main background of this research. In
this work, the conventional split type vapour compression cycle with compressor
power of 750 Watt has been modified to produce cooling and to produce hot
water. The capacity of the water heater is 120 litres. The heating coil made of
copper tube 10 mm in diameter and 5 m length and it consists of 12 elbows. The
measurements results show that water with initial temperature of 300
C can be
heated up to 470
C. The main conclusion here is that, the waste heat from the
condenser can be used to power the heater in producing hot water
