Pengaruh Pendidikan dan Pelatihan Kebencanaan terhadap Kinerja Petugas di Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Provinsi Aceh (BPBA)

Abstract

Based on the Low Number 24 Year 2007 concerning Disaster Management known officer job performance was the work of disaster management personnel in disaster relief efforts are planned, coordinated and comprehensive. Disaster monagement requires adequate humanresources in terms of number and competence and ability. Therefore, we need a coaching program, a planned education and training on disaster. The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of education and training on the performance of official Disaster Manogement Agency in Aceh Province. This study is a survey research with explanatory research method with education and training as the independent variable and job performance as the dependent variable. The research was conducted in Aceh Disaster Management Agency from February to August 2012. Data were collected through interviews using a questionnaire to test the effects of education and disaster training on the performance of officers in Aceh Disaster Management Agency using the Spearman test and Logistic Regression Testing. The results showed the influence of education on performance is significant (p<0.005) with a correlation coefficient 0.988 and the effect of training on the performonce of a significant (p<0.005) with a correlation coefficient of 0.900. Aceh Disaster Management Agency is expected to continue to conduct ongoing disaster training so as to enhance the capabilities and skills of workers and the implications for job performance improvement officer Aceh Disaster Management Agency. Aceh provincial government is expected to facilitate and support efforts to improve performance through education and training officer.
