dc.description.abstract | Facing the era of globalization and also the condition of society that
continues to develop, it is often found that many companies are experiencing
various problems that result in the company's failure to be able to continue to grow
and compete in running its business. Therefore, companies must be able to develop
human resources in order to encourage progress for the company.
This study aims to analyze how the influence of training and work
motivation on employee performance at PT. Bank SUMUT Syariah Sub-Branch
Karya Medan. The effect of training and work motivation will be tested partially
and simultaneously on employee performance.
The research method used in this research is quantitative research with an
associative approach. The population in this study were employees of PT. Bank
SUMUT Syariah Sub-Branch Karya Medan, totaling 35 people. Sampling was done
by using. The data collection method used in this study is primary data obtained by
distributing questionnaires and secondary data obtained through literature study.
The data analysis method used is validity test, reliability test, classic assumption
test, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing.
The results of the research conducted indicate that the training variable has
an insignificant effect and motivation has a significant effect on employee
performance, the variable training and work motivation has a simultaneous effect
on employee performance, this coefficient value indicates the relationship between
training and work motivation on employee performance is very strong with a value
of R of 0.88 or 88%. The value of Adjust R Square is also known that the variables
of training and work motivation can explain the performance variable by 63.1%
while the rest is influenced by other variables not explained in this study | en_US |
