Pengaruh Pertimbangan Pasar Kerja, Lingkungan Kerja Motivasi, Orangtua, dan Personalitas terhadap Minat Berkarir Menjadi Akuntan Publik pada Mahasiswa Akuntansi Universitas Sumatera
Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of labor market considerations, work environment, motivation, parents, and personality on the interest in a career as a public accountant. This study has a population consisting of all USU FEB accounting students in 2018-2020. The sampling technique used is accidental sampling, which is a sampling technique based on chance. Students who coincidentally meet the researcher can be used as a sample, if it is deemed that the person met by chance is suitable as a data source. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that partially considerations of the labor market, parents, and personality have a positive effect on the interest in a career to become a public accountant while the variables of work environment and motivation have no effect on the interest in a career to become a public accountant.
