    Abstract
The nanoherbal gagatan harimau leaf (Vitis gracilis Wall.) contains secondary metabolite compounds like flavonoids that can lessen the severity of liver lessions. Hepatocyte cells can suffer harmly from oxidative stress but can be reduced by flavonoids. Flavonoids direct free radical adsorption and function as antioxidants. In this research, male Wistar rats (Rattus norvegicus L.) that had received physical exercise were given a nanoherbal extract of gagatan tiger (Vitis gracilis Wall.) leaf to see the affects on the liver histology. The experiment was used completely randomized design (CRD) by six treatments, each of them contains four replications, The treatment consisted of negative control (normal rats); positive control (20 minutes of swimming exercise); 20 minutes of swimming exercise + 2 mg/kgBW of Vitamin C mixtured by100 mg/kgBW of gagatan tiger nanoherbal leaf (Vitis gracilis Wall.); 125 mg/kgBW, and 150 mg/kgBW. Liver histology was made by paraffin method with Hematoxylin Eosin (HE) staining. The results showed that the 20 minutes swimming caused oxidative stress which could cause damage to liver hepatocyte cells such as parenchyme degeneration, hydropic degeneration, and necrosis. Giving nanoherbal gagatan tiger leaf (Vitis gracilis Wall.) looked like to heal the hepatocyte cell damage even after 20 minutes of vigorous swimming. The optimum dosage of gagatan tiger leaf nanoherbal (Vitis gracilis Wall.) was 125 mg/kgBW because it exhibited cell regeneration that was comparable to the normal treatment group
