dc.description.abstractThis study aims to determine the effect of applying liquid organic fertilizer made from pineapple peel on the growth of red spinach (Amaranthus tricolor) to obtain the optimum POC concentration of pineapple peels to a certain concentration. POC of pineapple peel was fermented for 4 weeks and analyzed for the nutrient content. The method used is a one-factor Randomized Block Design (RBD) was used with five level POC concentrations as treatment; 0 (control), 20, 40, 60 and 80%. The five treatments were repeated 5 times to obtain 25 experimental units. Data was obtained by measure of plant height, leaves number, root crown ratio, plant fresh weight, shoot dry weight, root dry weight, and anthocyanin levels. Data obtained from observations were analized by ANOVA with SPSS 22 version and continued with Duncan’s test showed the significant difference between plant control without treatment with treatment plants. Treatment P3 (40%) is the best treatment based on results of data analysis and parameters used.en_US
