Analisis Pengaruh Corporate Governance terhadap Financial Distress pada Perusahaan Manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia Tahun 2019-2021

Abstract

This research aims to determine an empirical study about the impact of corporate governance measured by the size of the board of directors, size of the board of commisionners, size of the audit committee, institutional ownership, and composition of independent commissioners on financial distress on manufacturing company listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2019-2021. This research used secondary data from each manufacturing company website and Indonesia Stock Exchange at www.idx.co.id with the 41 companies as samples by 123 observations. This research was analyzed by descriptive statistic analysis and logistic regression analysis with SPSS version 26 software. This research showed that the size of board of directors, size of board of commissioners, and composition of independent commissioners affect financial distress while board of audit committee and institutional ownership no affect financial distress.
