Abstract

This research aims to develop an accounting information system for cash receipts and disbursements at PT. Telkom Akses Medan. Using a qualitative research method, this study will evaluate the existing accounting system in the company and determine its compliance with applicable standards. Data will be collected through interviews, observations, and analysis of relevant documents. This research is essential to assist PT. Telkom Akses in efficiently managing its operations and preventing errors and fraudulent activities in the cash accounting system. Cash receipts in the company come from the sale of internet services, telephone services, and pay-TV, while cash disbursements are related to operational purchases, asset maintenance, employee salaries, and debt payments. By providing accurate and reliable information, the findings of this research will enable the company to manage cash receipts and disbursements more effectively in accordance with applicable standards. The resulting recommendations and solutions are expected to improve the efficiency and accuracy of the company's cash accounting system, thereby helping to achieve its goals of maintaining sustainability, growth, and profitability
