Analisis Tingkat Keusangan Literatur yang Disitir pada Tesis Mahasiswa Program Studi Magister Ilmu Komunikasi Universitas Sumatera Utara

Abstract

This research was conducted to analysis the student’s the obsolescence cited literature of the magister communication program student’s thesis of Sumatera Utara University in 2020. The research was a description analysis which was done to have the mean value of the data by using statistic analysis. The data were collected by using documentation through repository website. The analysis units were used in the research was 1.369 citation. The results could be taken from the research of the Magister Communication Program Student’s thesis of Sumatera Utara University were the average of half life was 6,91 years, the literature obsolescence level was 5,9 % and the up-to-date level was 47,99%. The most literature used was book with 70,63%.
