Penerapan Gerakan Literasi Sekolah di SMA Negeri 1 Tanjung Tiram Kabupaten Batu Bara
Abstract
The objective of this research is to delve into implementation of school literacy movement in SMA Negeri (State Senior High School) 1 Tanjung Tiram, Batu Bara Regency.This Descriptive qualitative research employs Pusposive Sampling teehnique to select a total of 7 informants. Consisting of the school principal, vice principal library support staffs second and third year at SMA Negeri 1 Tanjung Tiram Batu Bara Regency the data analiysis technique comprises data education drawing. Comprises data reduction, data presentation, data description, and conlusion drawing aiming to analyze relevan significan and essemial data. The data are collected through observation, interview, and documentation. They are rested by employing triangulation technique, including data triangulation, triangulation theory, and triangulation method. The research find that the implementation of school literacy movement in SMA Negeri 1 Tanjung Tiram, Batu Bara Regeney is based on the guidance to the school literacy movement for senior high school in 2016 which launched by the ministry of education and culture and consisted of 3 stages. Firstly, the habitutation stage is well implemented in SMA Negeri 1 Tanjung Tiram, Batu Bara regency yet there have been some obstacles encountered in the past two years such as the outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic. Secondly, as to the development stage, the movement develops and runs quite smoothly despite the lack of fictiom collection. Thisdly the learning stage is the continuation of develop,emt stage which provides ways to improve students interest by running contests.
