dc.description.abstract | This research discusses lexical cohesion in the book Shahihu Al-Adabi Al-Mufradi by Imam Al-Bukhari. The purpose of the study was to find out the types and categories of the word lexical cohesion in the book Shahihu Al-Adabi Al-Mufradi by Imam Al-Bukhari using the theory of lexical cohesion proposed by Halliday and Hasan in Sumarlam and the supporting theory of Al-Ghulayaini. This research is a library research (Library Research). The data collected uses the listening method and the recording technique and uses the descriptive analysis method. The results showed that 56 pieces of lexical cohesion type were obtained. The types of lexical cohesion consist of 35 reps, namely epizeuxic repetitions of 24 pieces in hadith 1, 4, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11, 13, 14, 16, 17, and 20, tautotes repetitions of 1 piece in hadith 18, anaphora repetitions of 3 pieces in hadith 2, 4, and 7, epistrophic repetitions of 4 pieces in hadith 4, 9, and 20, simploke repetitions of 1 piece in hadith 6, mesodiplosis reps of 1 piece in hadith 18, and anadiplosis reps of 1 piece in hadith 2, while reps of epanalepsis were not found, 2 pieces of synonyms in hadith 6 and 14, 2 pieces of collocation in hadith 18, 11 pieces of hyponyms in hadith 2, 3, 9, 12, 14, 15, 16, and 19, 3 pieces of antonyms in hadith 1, 4, and 20, and 3 pieces of equivalence in hadiths 5 and 18. The categories of words found are isim, fi'il, fi'il māḍi, fi'il muḍāri', number, number of ismiyah, number of fi'liyah, jār-majrūr, na'at-man'ut, and muḍāf-muḍāfun ilaihi. The conclusion of this study is that the most dominant type of lexical cohesion is repetition because there are many repetitions used in the hadith. | en_US |
