    Abstract
    This research aims to determine the magnitude of the influence between the variables Level of Independence, Financial Capability, General Allocation Fund (DAU), Special Allocation Fund (DAK) and Profit Sharing Fund (DBH) on Economic Growth in districts/cities in North Sumatra province in the period 2018-2020 regions are both calculated through partial tests and simultaneous tests. This study uses the Associative Causality method, which is a data testing method that is used to explain the relationship between the independent variables and the dependent variable. In this study, the number of samples used was 33 districts/cities in North Sumatra province in the 2018-2020 period with a total of 99 research data. The type of data collection used in this study is secondary data collected by the author through the official website of the ministry of finance accessed via the www.djpk.kemenkeu.go.id page. The research materials used as data in this study are related to Independence, Capability, General Allocation Funds, Special Allocation Funds, and Profit Sharing Funds and Economic Growth. After testing the data, the results of this study were obtained which proved that simultaneously Independence, Capability, General Allocation Funds, Special Allocation Funds, and Revenue Sharing Funds had a positive and significant influence on district/city capital spending in the province of North Sumatra. While partially it is known that Independence, Capability, DAU, and DAK have no effect on the economic growth of districts/cities in the province of North Sumatra. While partially the Revenue Sharing Fund (DBH) has a positive and significant effect on the economic growth of districts/cities in the province of North Sumatra.
