Praktik Agen dan Struktur: Pemberdayaan Dana Zakat dalam upaya Meningkatkan Kualitas Pendidikan Studi Kasus Lembaga Amil Zakat Madhani Human Care (Laz Mhc) Kota Dumai

Abstract

This research is motivated by the existence of role of agents and structure to increase the quality of education in Dumai by using and empowering zakat funds in education. To achieve its goal, the agents do various methods such as changing their institutional structure and adding new structures nich as empowering the zakat funds in education The objective of the research is to find out the practice of ugents and structure in Amil Zakat Madhani Human Care (LAZ MHC), Dunal, to increase the quality of education in this town. The data are analyzed by using descriptive analytic and triangulation methods. The result of the research shows that LAZ MHC attempts to increase the quality of education in Dumai by using the practice of agents and structure There are three agents who play their role in initiating the changes in the discursive awareness. The role in social change is exercised by conducting socialization, trust, communication. Interpretation, and moral values. The initiation in the role of structure comes from bad educational condition in Dumat which creates the collaboration of the LAZ MHC the Education and Culture Agency, and the Social Affairs Agency to improve the educational quality in Dumal. The correlation between the agents and the structure in this research occurs through the domination structure scheme (the control of agents over the structure). significance (the appeal of agents toward the structure), and achievement of legitimating scheme (the justification of the agents' efforts by the Structure).
