    Abstract
This study aims to determine the profile of breeders (age, length of farming, type of work, and education level of respondents) which is associated with the success of Artificial Insemination (AI), to analyze the success rate of Artificial Insemination (AI) based on the Non Return Rate (NRR), Conception Rate ( CR), and Service Per Conception (S/C) in Deli Serdang Regency, analyzed the effect of the number of cows, the condition of the cows (BCS), the timeliness of AI, the knowledge of farmers in detecting heat, and the location distance on the success of Artificial Insemination in Deli Regency Serdang. This research was conducted in Bangun Purba District, Beringin District and Lubuk Pakam District, Deli Serdang Regency in July-October 2022 with a total of 95 respondents. Analysis of the data used is using multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that the profile of breeders from the aspects of age, length of farming, type of work, and level of education strongly supports the success rate of the AI program and for the further development of cattle in Deli Serdang Regency. Based on the results of the NRR, CR and S/C analysis, the Artificial Insemination program in Deli Serdang Regency was quite successful. The highest success rate is found in locations that have the densest population (District of Bangun Purba). Based on the results of multiple regression analysis, the effect of the variables observed simultaneously was 65.3% affecting the pregnancy rate while 34.7% was influenced by other factors.
