dc.description.abstract | Gagatan harimau (Vitis gracilis wall.) is one of the Indonesian plants that has
bioactive compounds and is beneficial as an antioxidant. In order to get the maximal
effects, it need a specific preparation of this nanoherbal product. The study aimed find
out the effectiveness of Gagatan harimau leaves (Vitis Gracilis Wall.) on the body
weight, morphology and the histology of the heart in male wistar rats (Rattus
norvegicus L.) which were given maximal exercise. The study consists of six treatments
using a Complete Random Plan (CRP): (1) Negative Control (only given feed ad
libitum); (2) Positive Control (only given maximal exercise); (3) Maximal Exercise +
Vit. C 2 mg/kgBW; (4) Maximal Exercise + 100 mg / kgBW nanoherbal leaves of
Gagatan harimau (Vitis gracilis Wall.); (5) Maximal Exercise + 125 mg/kgBW
nanoherbal leaves of Gagatan harimau (Vitis gracilis Wall.); (6) Maximal Exercise +
150 mg/kgBW nanoherbal leaves of Gagatan harimau (Vitis gracilis Wall.). The
research was conducted by the paraffine and coloring methods of Hematoxiline-Eosin
(HE). The results showed the leaves of Gagatan harimau (Vitis gracilis Wall.) at a
dose of 125 mg/kgBW affected the body weight, the morphology and as well as the
histology of the heart. | en_US |
