Campur Kode dalam Video Youtube Warintil Official Kajian: Sosiolinguistik

Abstract

This study aims to describe the code mix contained in the official Warintil youtube video. The problem studied is how the forms of language code mixing, the types of code mixing found, and the factors that cause code mixing. The theory used in this research is using the theoretical approach of sociolinguistics, bilingualism, code mixing, types of words, and factors that cause code mixing. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. The methods used in collecting data for this research are listening, tapping, free-flowing, recording and note-taking techniques. The method used in analyzing the data uses the commensurate method with the basic technique of sorting the determining elements (PUP technique), and using advanced techniques in the form of mark reading techniques. The results of this study are as follows: The code mix found in the Warintil official YouTube video is (1) code mix in the form of words totaling 40 data in the form of noun classes (nouns) consisting of 17 data, verb classes (verbs) consisting of 10 data, and adjective classes (adjectives) consisting of 13 data. (2) code mix in the form of phrases, in the form of noun phrase class consists of 8 data, verb phrase class consists of 2 data and adjective phrase class consists of 3 data. (3) code mix in the form of baster consists of 5 data, and (4) code mix in the form of word repetition consists of 7 data. There are two types of code mix contained in Warintil official youtube videos, namely inward code mix and outward code mix. Factors that cause code mixing in Warintil official youtube are caused by the use of more popular terms, speech partners, functions and purposes, to evoke a sense of humor, and for prestige.
