Kangkong (Ipomea reptans Poir.) is a type of vegetable that is favored by
all groups of people in Indonesia. This study aims to analyze the growth response
of kangkong by giving pineapple peel POC nutrition with different
concentrations. POC of pineapple skin was fermented for 4 weeks and analyzed
for the nutrient content. The method used is a Non-factorial Randomized Block
Design (RBD) used with five level of POC concentrations as treatment: 0% (without treatment), 15%, 30%, 45% and 60%. The five treatments were repeated
5 times to obtain 25 experimental units. The data obtained included plant height,
number of leaves, root crown ratio, plant fresh weight, plant dry weight, shoot dry
weight, root dry weight and chlorophyll content were also measured as growth
factor data. The data obtained were analyzed using ANOVA version 22 and
continued with Duncan's test. There is significant differences between control
plants without treatment with treatment plants. P3(45%) treatment plant is the
best concentration to the growth of kangkong from all parameters.
