Pengaruh Karakteristik, Pengetahuan dan Pelatihan Petugas terhadap Pelayanan Manajemen Terpadu Balita Sakit ISPA di Puskesmas Kota Banda Aceh Tahun 2014

Abstract

!SPA (Acute Respiratory Tract Infection) is the main cause cf death either in babies or in balita (below ftve year-old children) because the quality of health care is low. Various attempts hove made by the government to integrate services, and of them is MTBS (Integrated Management for Sick Balita). Today, Banda Aceh has the problem cf implementing PTBS which the effect on ISP A. The objective of the research was to analyze the influence of characteristics (age, sex, education, and the length of service), knowledge, and training for personnel on MTBS at Banda Aceh Puskesmas. The research was a survey with explanatory research method. The population was 3 2 MTBS personnel at Puskesmas in Banda Aceh. The data were analyzed by using univatriate analysis, bivatriate awlysis with chi square test, and multivatriate analysts with logistic regression test. The result of the analysis showed that the variables of knowledge and training had the influence on MTBS ISP A by the respondents at p< 0. 05. It was also found that the variable ~(knowledge had the most dominant influence. It is recommended that the Health Service perform up-grading regularly to refresh MTBS personnel~<; understarding about MTBS at Puskesmas and increase the capacity of new personnel
