Pertumbuhan dan Laju Eksploitasi Ikan Kembung Lelaki (Rastrelliger Kanagurta) Yang Didaratkan di Kud Gabion Pelabuhan Perikanan Samudera Belawan Provinsi Sumatera Utara

Abstract

Male mackerel (Rastrelliger kanagurta) is one of the main fish catches in KUD Gabion Belawan Ocean Fishery Port, North Sumatra Province. This research was conducted in August - October 2022. The purpose of this study was the growth pattern and exploitation status of male mackerel (Rastrelliger kanagurta). The total number of male mackerel observed was 190. The results showed that the sex ratio of male mackerel was 1:1.31. The frequency distribution of length ranged from 252-261 mm and the total weight was between 61.15-188.27 grams. The growth pattern of male mackerel is negative allometric for males and females, the condition factor is classified as less flat, namely 1.10, the growth parameter values of the Von Bartalanfy equation for male mackerel are 250 mm and 0.96 mm/month. The total mortality rate of fish is 2.518/year, natural mortality is 0.636/year and fishing mortality (F) is 1.882/year. The fish exploitation rate of 0.747 is classified as a high exploitation rate.
