Pengaruh Penambahan Ampas Tahu pada Pakan Komersial Serta Feeding Rate yang Berbeda Terhadap Pertumbuhan dan Kelangsungan Hidup Ikan Lele Sangkuriang (Clarias gariepinus)

Abstract

Catfish is one of the aquaculture commodities which has many advantages, including fast growth so that it is widely cultivated. One of the factors that becomes an obstacle in the catfish farming business is that the feed that is often used by the community has a relatively expensive price so that many cultivators are looking for additional alternative raw materials in feed production. Tofu dregs are a raw material that is quite effective in reducing feed production costs. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of adding tofu dregs to commercial feed on the growth in length and weight of sangkuriang catfish (Clarias gariepinus). This research was conducted in October - December 2022. The method used in this study was a Randomized Block Design (RAK). Factorial with 2 factors and 3 replications. The first factor was the addition of tofu dregs to commercial feed with 3 levels, namely A1 (95% commercial feed, 2.9% tofu dregs and 2.1% fish meal), A2 (90% commercial feed, 5.8% tofu dregs and 4.2% fish meal) and A3 (85% commercial feed, 8.7% tofu dregs and 6.3% fish meal and the second factor is the feeding rate with three levels, namely F1 (Feeding Rate 2), F2 (Feeding Rate 3). ) and F3 (Feeding Rate 4). This research was conducted for 60 days of rearing period to find out the growth in length, increase in weight, feed conversion ratio, survival and water quality. The results showed the addition of tofu dregs to commercial feed with different feeding rates indicated the presence of significantly different effect (P≤0.01) on length growth and showed a significantly different effect (P≤0.05) on increasing fish weight with the best treatment A3F3.In the Feed Conversion Ratio, the treatment showed a very significant different effect ( P≤0.01) with per the best practice of A3F1 and the survival rate was classified as good with the highest survival rate of 96.67%.
