Indonesia's palm oil industry is important to Indonesia's economy as palm
oil trade is growing. For a long time, the government and all Indonesian palm oil
stakeholders have been waiting for the development of palm oil raw materials
from upstream to downstream (downstream). One of the challenges of palm oil
downstream in Indonesia is Indonesia's limited human resources.

Safety), training and career development on employee performance at PTPN IV
Kebun Gunung Bayu. The research method used is quantitative research. The
population of this study consisted of all employees of PTPN IV Kebun Gunung
Bayu with a sample of 61 respondents. The sampling technique uses probability
techniques through random sampling (simple random sampling method). The
primary data used in this study was obtained through the distribution of
questionnaires while the secondary data was obtained through a literature
review. The data analysis methods used are validity test, reliability test, classic
hypothesis test, multiple linear regression analysis and hypothesis test.
The results showed that the variables K3 (Occupational Health and
Safety) (X1), Training (X2) and Career Development (X3) had a significant effect
on the employee performance variables (Y). The coefficient of determination test
shows an adjusted R-squared value of 0.679 indicating that 67.9% of the K3,
Training and Career Development variables can explain the employee
performance variables. The remaining 32.1% are explained by other variables not
explained in this study.
