dc.description.abstractIndonesia's palm oil industry is important to Indonesia's economy as palm oil trade is growing. For a long time, the government and all Indonesian palm oil stakeholders have been waiting for the development of palm oil raw materials from upstream to downstream (downstream). One of the challenges of palm oil downstream in Indonesia is Indonesia's limited human resources. The company implements occupational safety and health because several activities involve factors such as work accidents and disease risks. Training is used to provide, obtain, improve and develop professional skills, productivity, discipline, attitude and work ethic to a certain level of skill and expertise depending on the level and qualifications of the position or employment. While the career development program is one of the supports of the company with the aim of encouraging and motivating the employees to be able to develop their career to be better in terms of position and income. This study aims to analyze the effect of K3 (Occupational Health and Safety), training and career development on employee performance at PTPN IV Kebun Gunung Bayu. The research method used is quantitative research. The population of this study consisted of all employees of PTPN IV Kebun Gunung Bayu with a sample of 61 respondents. The sampling technique uses probability techniques through random sampling (simple random sampling method). The primary data used in this study was obtained through the distribution of questionnaires while the secondary data was obtained through a literature review. The data analysis methods used are validity test, reliability test, classic hypothesis test, multiple linear regression analysis and hypothesis test. The results showed that the variables K3 (Occupational Health and Safety) (X1), Training (X2) and Career Development (X3) had a significant effect on the employee performance variables (Y). The coefficient of determination test shows an adjusted R-squared value of 0.679 indicating that 67.9% of the K3, Training and Career Development variables can explain the employee performance variables. The remaining 32.1% are explained by other variables not explained in this study.en_US
