    Abstract
One of the innovations in the planning and implementation of today's construction works is the use of precast concrete systems, including precast floor slabs. The use of precast floor slabs that is quite often used is half slab precast. In this study, a simulation of the floor plate and roof slab product modeling using the half slab precast system with one way slab reinforcement will be carried out on the function of the shophouse as a residence and office focused on the North Sumatra region with 6 types of slab types, namely HS-1, HS- 2, HS-3, HS-5. With this modeling simulation, it is hoped that the North Sumatra generation half slab precast product can be marketed and meet construction needs in the Sumatra region. The result of this research is the thickness of the plan plate which refers to the minimum value obtained from the condition of the plate at every possible support condition, which is 16 cm. The biggest moment occurs in the HS-3 type floor slab with a moment value of 1388.45 kgm which is located on the x direction. The HS-3 has a total dimension of 650 mm x 300 mm, with a partial half slab dimension of 124 mm x 290 mm. The amount of deflection that occurs on the floor plate and roof slab based on the results of the analysis using ETABS software, shows a deflection value of 11,633 mm for the shop floor slab which is used as a residential house, and 15,131 mm for the shop-house floor plate which is functioned as an office, and 15,424 mm for the shop floor. roof slab, indicating that the type of either floor slab or roof slab meets the maximum deflection re quirements, so as to minimize deflections or deformations that can negatively affect the strength or serviceability of a structure.
