Sistem Kearsipan di Bagian Pemasaran Perusahaan Daerah Air Minum (PDAM) Tirtanadi Sumatera Utara Cabang Padang Bulan

Abstract

The success of an organization in achieving its goals can be influenced by several factors, one of which is good records management. Archives can assist companies in providing current and past information. The purpose of writing this Final Project is to find out the filing system in the Marketing Department of PDAM Tirtanadi North Sumatra, Padang Bulan Branch. The research method used in writing the final project is the field method and the library method using descriptive analysis. Descriptive analysis is analyzing data by describing or describing the results obtained by comparing data based on the theory of practice in the field. Based on the descriptive analysis, the authors conclude that the filing system implemented in PDAM Tirtanadi is not yet perfect in accordance with archival theory, such as archive storage systems, archive equipment and supplies, and procedures for borrowing archives.
