| dc.description.abstract | Garbage retribution is one type of public service levy that contributes to Regional Original Income, especially Regional Retribution. This study aims to determine the strategy of the local government of Karo Regency in collecting waste retribution as a source of regional original income, to deretmine the contribution of waste retribution to regional original income and regional retribution. In addition, the purpose of this study is to find out the obstacles or obstacles in collecting waste retribution in Karo Regency.
The type of research used is a descriptive approach, namely the type of research that resolves and explains research problems with actual or objective conditions. Collecting data in this study is through the collection of secondary data and primary data, namely data obtained directly from the Departmen of the Environment and data obtained from the media concerned. The data collection technique used is direct observation to teh environment office by conducting interviews and documentation techniques, namely obtaining data that has been processed and published by others, both in books, articles, ournals, and others.
From this study, the government’s strategy in collecting waste levies is to increase the number of waste transporting fleets, conduct counseling and outreach to the community about the importance of being a waste Retribution Mandatory, conduct socialization about the importance of keeping the environment clean, form a Anti Bribery Team so that there is no garbage retribution collection can run optimally. Rhe results of this study also show that the receipt of the waste retribution and its contribution to Regional Original Income and Regional Retribution has increased and decreased every year. | en_US |
