dc.description.abstractThis study aims to determine the role of office layout, physical environmental factors and non-physical environmental factors in the Regional Personnel Agency office of North Sumatra Province. This research is a qualitative research with data obtained from observations and from the results of interviews conducted during the study period. The data analysis method used is the observation method and the interview method. The population of this study is the North Sumatra Provincial Civil Service Agency. The results of the study show that the office layout applied to the office is an open office layout and a closed office layout. Physical environmental factors cannot be classified as good, namely the area of the room which can be categorized as narrow, while the non-physical environment in the office can be classified as good. The three factors are very influential in facilitating employee activities at work.en_US
