Abstract

This study aims to determine Office Administration plays an important role in an activity or process. Implementation of Office Administration In a company, both private and government agencies are inseparable from activities to achieve goals. Therefore, in order to achieve these objectives properly and obtain optimal results, it is necessary to implement effective and efficient office administration. Office administration is an office operational activity related to data handling which includes light bookkeeping, note-taking, correspondence, typing which is administrative in nature. The implementation of office administration plays an important role for the smooth operation of the office. This study aims to find out how the implementation of office administration is effective and efficient. This is very important and needs to be given special attention so that it can support the performance of an institution. The results of the research and discussion can be seen that the role of office administration in supporting performance at the Regional Civil Service Office of North Sumatra Province has been carried out optimally and also in the management of incoming and outgoing letters it can be classified properly which is very influential in smoothing the performance of running effectively and efficient.
