Analisis Faktor-Faktor yang Mempengaruhi Terhambatnya Sistem Perawatan Kapal di PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) Regional 1

Abstract

This research, motivated by the minimum of90% vessel readiness standard with a minimum of 3-day damage to the ship which can affect the strategies of vessel maintenance at PT. Pelabuhan Undonesia (Persero), is to analyze the factors hindering the vessel maintenance strategies. The objective of this research is to find out and to analyze the effects of Planned Maintenance System, Fund Availability, and Spare parts procurement on the vessel maintenance strategies at PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) Regional I. This descriptive quantitative research employs statistics by analyzing the cause-and-effect relationship from independent variables namely Planned Maintenance System (PMS), Fund Availability, and Spare parts procurement toward the vessel maintenance strategies. The research is done at PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) Regional 1 located on JI. Lingkar Pelabuhan No.I. The data obtained are analyzed using multiple linear regression method. The research concludes that Planned Maintenance System partially gives positive and significant effects on vessel maintenance strategies (first hypothesis is accepted), Fund Availability partially has positive and significant effects on vessel maintenance strategies (second hypothesis is accepted), and Spare parts procurement partially gives positive and significant effects on vessel maintenance strategies (third hypothesis is accepted). It is recommended that the directorate of ship business in the ship readiness division at PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) Regional 1 appoint a Third Party for the process of ship maintenance at PT Pe/abuhan Indonesia (Persero) Regional 1.
