Pengaruh Metode Pembelajaran Gramatika dan Terjemah di Madrasah Aliyah (MA) Pesantren Minhajul Haq Jawa Barat

Abstract

This research discusses the influence of the grammar and translation learning method in the level of Madrasah Aliyah education. The research aims to determine the learning outcomes of class I Madrasah Aliyah students using the Grammar and Translation method in the Nahwu subject, to identify the developmental differences among students with different educational backgrounds, and to find the influence of student learning outcomes when using the Grammar and Translation method. This research is in a quantitative and qualitative form using observation and interview methods to gather data. Data in the form of information about students' educational background and scores from a test of two groups of students. The scores are calculated to obtain the average and then presented in a graph.The theory used is the Grammar and Translation learning method theory written by Imam Makruf. The results of this study found that students with a boarding school educational background had a higher average score of 95.81, while students with a non boarding school educational background scored 95.52. The conclusion of this study is that the influence generated by the Grammar and Translation method can be considered good, with all students having high average scores.
