    Abstract
    This research focuses on the form and meaning of Japanese idioms formed from hand-related body parts in the manga "Gotoubun no Hanayome" by Negi Haruba. The objective of this study is to explain the form and meaning of these idioms. The theoretical frameworks used in this research include syntax theory by Verhaar, semantic theory by saeed, and idiom meaning theory. The meanings of the idioms are analyzed using a qualitative descriptive approach in this thesis to provide explanations that facilitate readers' understanding.The research findings indicate the existence of 13 Japanese idioms formed from hand-related body parts in the manga "Gotoubun no Hanayome." These idioms are "Te wo Yaku" (unruly), "Te ni Oenai" (beyond one's ability), "Te wa Nuite" (not doing something seriously), "Te wo Utsu" (to take action), "Te ni Ireru" (to obtain), "Te no Hodokosu" (to lend a helping hand), "Te ni Ase wo Nigiru" (to feel tense), "Te ga Hanasenai" (to be busy or engaged in something), "Tegokoro Kuwaete" (to make a situation easier), "Te wo Dasu" (to meddle or get involved), "Te ga Hayai" (to act quickly), "Te ni Amaru" (to be excessive), and "Te wo Hiku" (to withdraw). Each idiom has various meanings and can be applied in everyday life. The conclusion of this research is that there are 13 Japanese idioms formed from the hand parts in the manga "Gotoubun no Hanayome" by Negi Haruba.
