Penderitaan Batin Tokoh Utama Magi Diela dalam Novel Perempuan yang Menangis kepada Bulan Hitam Karya Dian Purnomo: Kajian Psikosastra

Abstract

The story in the novel actually describes the reality of human life. The study of a novel can be done with the study of literary psychology. The purpose of this study is to describe the forms of inner suffering of the main character and the impact caused by the inner suffering experienced by the main character. The theoretical foundation of this research applies two theories, namely Kurt Lewin's theory to analyze the forms of inner suffering experienced by the main character and Effendi's theory to analyze the impact of the inner suffering experienced by the main character. The research method used in this research is descriptive-qualitative method. The data source used in this research is the novel Perempuan yang Menangis kepada Bulan Hitam by Dian Purnomo. The result of this research is three forms of inner suffering, which are as follows: (1) inner suffering approaching-close, (2) inner suffering approaching-far, and (3) inner suffering away-far. When someone experiences mental suffering, there will certainly be an impact that arises. The impacts arising from the inner suffering experienced by the main character in this study are: helplessness and anger.
