Kepribadian Tokoh Utama dalam Novel Elegi Haekal Karya Dhia’an Farah Menurut Arketipe Carl Gustav Jung: Kajian Psikologi Sastra

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) Describe the main character's personality in the novel Elegi Haekal by Dhia'an Farah using Carl Gustav Jung's archetype, 2). Describe the main character's personality traits in the novel Elegi Haekal by Dhia'an Farah using the Hippocrates-Galenus typology. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. The results of this study are: 1) There are four main archetypes that can be reflected by the main character Haekal, namely persona, anima, shadow, and self, 2) Based on these archetypes, the main character tends to have the characteristics of a melancholic.
