dc.description.abstract | Anak Laut Lake is a lake located in West Telaga Gosong Village, North
Singkil District, Aceh Singkil District. The lake can also experience high and low
tides because the lake is close to marine and coastal waters. The phenomenon of
tides is one of the marine phenomena that has a great influence on marine biota,
especially in coastal areas. So that there are many biota and organisms that are in
the waters of sub-sea lakes, one of which is the Nekton community. The purpose
of this study was to determine the community structure, types of nekton and tidal
relationship to the community structure of nekton. This research was conducted
from March to April 2023. The method used in determining the location is by
selecting 4 research stations based around the lake by catching fish using gill nets
and traps. The Nekton community is assessed based on the composition of the
Nekton and the diversity index. The results of this study showed that the total
number of nekton spatially and temporally during high and low tide was obtained,
namely 1707 individuals consisting of 23 families and 34 species. Spatial and
temporal diversity index values (H') during high and low tide ranged from
(1.51-2.70), spatial and temporal uniformity (E) during high and low tide ranged
from (0.60-0.92) , and the dominance index (C) spatially and temporally during
high and low tide ranges from (0.10-0.27). Spatial relationship of water quality
parameters at high tide obtained a correlation value of 0.8655 with a very strong
category at low tide obtained a correlation value of 0.913 with a very strong
category. Then temporally at high tide, the correlation value was 0.8469 with a
very strong category and at low tide the correlation value was 0.8967 with a very
strong category for the diversity and abundance of Nekton. | en_US |
