The caru fish that were observed during the study had a class distribution of 120,5−423,5 mm in length, the growth pattern of caru fish during the study was negative allometric, based on the condition factor values of the male caru fish which were classified as flat while the female caru were classified as less flat. The length of the first caught caru male caru was 189.91 mm and the female caru was 238.53 mm and the length at first maturity of male and female caru were 343.64 mm and 259.84 mm.
